Lady Georgie

Gerogie is a story about a girl who lives with her family in Australia.  They live in a big farm in the country.  Georgie is very playful and cute girl.  She loves her brothers, Abel and Arthur, and they're the best of friends.  She always wear a bracelet which carries a big secret without her knowing.  Her mum is very strict with her and she can't find out why.  The secret is soon to be known, and her whole world will crash.  Georgie tries always to be brave, she's tough and very much of a "boy-girl."

Information

The name "Lady" was added to the title not to mix Georgie with the male name George.  The tale of Georgie also exists as a comic, but then it's quite different.  The end of the anime and the ennd of the comic are very unlike.  Georgie is a typical "Japanese" anime and it's artwork is very professional.  This tale is so pretty, you almost melt by seing it.

Lady Georgie is produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha in 1983.

Character guide

• Georgie is a girl who's always happy and smiling.  She always seek adventures and sometimes she gets into lots of troubles.  She loves her family and try to please her mother who treat her strangely compared to her brothers.
• Abel is Georgie's oldest brother.  He's protecting and he's always there to help his lovely sister.  Since he knows the secret of Georgie, he loves her in a different way.  He loves her as a woman she once will grow up and be.
• Arthur is the youngest of the boys and also the most careful.  He only loves Georgie as a sister.  But he would never let her down or ignore her.
• Mrs. Batman is the mother of Georgie, Abel and Arthur.  She tries to raise Georgie despite setbacks.  She's very strict and sometimes it seems like she doesn't care for Georgie.  But even though her hard outside, she has a warm heart.
• Kevin is the old man that always helps the Batman family.  He's their friend since always and he always listens.  He's a very nice and caring character.
