Future Boy Conan

1978.  A Sci-Fi adventure story set in the future world after the final war.  A wild boy, Conan goes on an adventurous journey to help a girl named Lana (granddaughter of Dr. Briac Lao, the developer of the solar energy), who was abducted by an autocratic city called Industria.  An adaptation from Alexander Key's novel, 'The Incredible Tide'.  26 episodes.  Directed by Hayao Miyazaki.  The greatest work of Miyazaki anime.  Produced by Nippon Animation.
